Shakespeare 5240-R/5241-R VHF Antenna

The Shakespeare 5240-R and 5241-R VHF Antennas are the perfect choice for bassboats, center console fishing boats or any boat where a smaller sized antenna is key. Both models are created with a chrome plated brass canister, which cuts down on detuning, and utilize tin plated copper wire. Both models come with a PL-259 connector, 15 feet of RG-58 cable and the whips are constructed of 36 inches of stainless steel. Both models have a maximum input of 50 watts of power, 50 ohms impedance and the whips are user-replacable.

Model 5241-R is a heavy duty version of the antenna and is recommended for boats which receive while moving at higher speeds. Both versions of the antenna require a mount with a center hole for passage of the cable. The recommended mount for either antennae is the Shakespeare 4187 Stainless Steel Ratchet Mount, sold seperately.
